What HAVEN"T we done in the last two months...?!

Well, where to start..?! The Knowlton's have been BUSY! School is underway...I had my very first parent-teacher conference and I am happy to report that Isaac is doing great! He is reading at second grade level and joined the accelerated readers program!! Isaac LOVES going to school and I LOVE that he LOVES school. I recently took the kiddos out to the old mill and got some great shots, it's beautiful out there!

He also started playing flag football, which I think is too funny. The kids are so lost at the concept of this game, and it is a hoot watching them play. I made a run-through banner for the team to run through before the game started...and well...this was hilarious. The kids couldn't actually run through it, they just ran around with it for about 5 minutes!

Isaac likes to hike the ball on every play.

Isaac also turned 6 years old this month! Kris and I, along with Papa, got Isaac a great playhouse/swing set that took 12 hours, 7 guys, 4 tons of rubber mulch and lots of sweat to put together!!

We also had a carnival birthday party at the house that was tons of fun. I made different booths for the kids to play... Granny was a fortune teller, Aunt Jennica painted faces, Kris took whip cream pies in the face (this was the kids' favorite!), Aunt Nene worked the guessing booth and Samantha helped with the peanut toss. We also had a cake walk (this was the runner-up favorite booth!) And not to mention...a cotton candy machine ~ YUMMY!The carnival birthday party was a success, but I'm SO glad it's over! Next up is MacyJo's 1 year birthday, and I'd better start planning now...that's the fun part! But for some reason it always seems to get way out of hand, lol ;o)

Kris and I also celebrated our 6 year anniversary. It seems like just yesterday that we met. We've been wanting to get baptized for the longest time now, and we finally did it this month! It was such a happy day. We were able to share our story with the church and it was a great way to give glory to God and honor Him. We're so very blessed and thankful for such an awesome God! So, that's what's new with the Knowlton's! We're looking forward to chillin' out this next month and enjoying the beautiful fall weather (my favorite time of year!) Until next time...
